3 time Grammy Winner, Peter Asher first came on the scene in the early 60s as half of the pop music vocal duo Peter and Gordon. Their first single "World Without Love" (written by Paul McCartney) hit No.1 on the US Billboard top 100 3 weeks after the Beatles debuted on Ed Sullivan. McCartney wrote three more Top ten hits for Peter and Gordon singles ("Nobody I Know", "I Don't Want to See You Again" and "Woman").
In 1968, Asher became head of the A&R department at Apple Records, where he discovered and signed then-unknown James Taylor and produced his debut solo album. Asher achieved great success producing a long string of multi-platinum albums for Taylor, including Sweet Baby James, JT and Flag, and also for Linda Ronstadt, including Heart Like a Wheel; Simple Dreams; Living in the USA; What's New; Canciones De Mi Padre; and Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind.
In May 2017, Asher debuted a weekly, hour-long series on the brand-new Sirius XM Radio station for The Beatles called "From Me To You". He also announced with commentary the Top 100 Beatles countdown "All Together Now" on The Beatles Channel that airs on Sirius XM Radio every Labor Day Weekend. In 2019, Asher published a book The Beatles from A to Zed about his personal reminiscences about the band.

Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee JD Souther is “one of the most celebrated songwriters of his generation,” writes Interview Magazine. Longtime friends, he and Glenn Frey formed the duo "Longbranch - Pennywhistle," and their early songs like “Kite Woman” and “Run, Boy, Run” serve as the literal seeds of the country-rock movement that is often refer to now as the "Laurel Canyon" sound. Besides navigating the success of his own fine solo career (re: “You’re Only Lonely”), Souther also went on to be a Glenn Frey / Don Henley collaborator on such pivotal Eagles songs as “Best of My Love,” “New Kid in Town,” and “Heartache Tonight.”
Souther has penned countless hits for Linda Ronstadt, Roy Orbison, James Taylor, Don Henley, George Strait, Trisha Yearwood, Brooks and Dunn, as well as the Eagles, and others, while establishing a cult following as a performer with the "Souther-Hillman-Furay Band" and as a solo artist. As an actor, he has appeared in the TV shows 'Thirtysomething' and 'Nashville,' among others. A passionate animal lover and advocate, JD is also involved with Best Friends Animal Society.
