"Night of Jerry Jeff Music!"
Django & the last JJWB (the last band that toured with his father the last years before his death in October of 2020) will be playing the songs that made the his dad famous and, in 1971, changed the music scene in Austin, Texas. into the “progressive country” music center that became home for a whole new style of music and the beginnings of the "Americana" genre, as we now call it.
Django Walker is a person who truly has music in his blood. As a child, he was born and raised in Austin, TX and is the son of Texas singer-songwriter Jerry Jeff Walker. He spent his earliest days soaking up Texas legends such as Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, and Guy Clark, all of whom Jerry Jeff played with and befriended. Django made a name for himself pinning songs for Pat Green (Texas on My Mind) and Jimmy Buffett (Something ‘Bout a Boat), Josh Abbott, Kevin Fowler, among many others. He has had great success with his winning song “College Life” as well as “Texas Longhorn“ which plays at every home game at Darrell K Royal Longhorn stadium. Today Django still carries that torch representing music in the Lone Star State and touring all over the country … And it burns big and bright! .

"John Pizzarelli is a virtuoso guitarist, an expressive/authentic vocalist with tremendous intervallic control, and has that elusive Sinatra quality of making every listener feel like he’s making music just for you.” – Bob Bakert, Jazz Guitar Today
World-renowned guitarist and vocalist John Pizzarelli has dedicated many of his albums to the great songwriters and performers who have helped to establish the Great American Songbook and the pop music canon: Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney, Richard Rodgers, and Duke Ellington, to name a few. With his new album, Pizzarelli and his remarkable new trio (bassist Mike Karn and pianist Isaiah J. Thompson) cast a wider net to explore other sources for the most immortal songs of the past century: the Broadway stage and the silver screen.

Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee JD Souther is “one of the most celebrated songwriters of his generation,” writes Interview Magazine. Longtime friends, he and Glenn Frey formed the duo "Longbranch - Pennywhistle," and their early songs like “Kite Woman” and “Run, Boy, Run” serve as the literal seeds of the country-rock movement that is often refer to now as the "Laurel Canyon" sound. Besides navigating the success of his own fine solo career (re: “You’re Only Lonely”), Souther also went on to be a Glenn Frey / Don Henley collaborator on such pivotal Eagles songs as “Best of My Love,” “New Kid in Town,” and “Heartache Tonight.”
Souther has penned countless hits for Linda Ronstadt, Roy Orbison, James Taylor, Don Henley, George Strait, Trisha Yearwood, Brooks and Dunn, as well as the Eagles, and others, while establishing a cult following as a performer with the "Souther-Hillman-Furay Band" and as a solo artist. As an actor, he has appeared in the TV shows 'Thirtysomething' and 'Nashville,' among others. A passionate animal lover and advocate, JD is also involved with Best Friends Animal Society.
